Warranty
Any warranty return may be made within a maximum period of 2 years from the date of delivery. The customer must notify their representative or the SEIM service department. Only products listed in the SEIM price list will be subject to inspection.
After receiving the products under warranty, the quality department undertakes to inspect them within 1 month. The inspection report will be sent to the Sales Administration Department (ADV), which will issue a credit note based on the report.
Procedure
There are two possible cases:
- Return to Bressolles: The customer must send a warranty return form by email to distribution@akwel-automotive.com. The return form can be downloaded by accessing the "Documentation" tab on the website www.seim.fr. You will need your customer code and postal code to log in.

Our quality department is responsible for inspecting the parts and providing an inspection report to the ADV department. If the warranty is accepted, the ADV department will issue a credit note or a replacement according to the customer's request. If the warranty is refused, the customer will be informed and sent the inspection report.
- Return via representative : During a representative’s visit, they may inspect the parts on site and decide whether the part can be accepted or refused. In case of doubt, the part must be sent to AKWEL SEIM along with the form provided by the representative. If accepted, the representative must send us the completed form by email. In all cases, the product accepted under warranty by the representative must be returned to us for inspection.
IT IS MANDATORY TO FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE. ANY RETURN OF PARTS WITHOUT THIS COMPLETED FORM AND WITHOUT A RETURN LABEL NUMBER WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
