What is the "COMFORT" Function?

Generally, the comfort function is absent on entry-level vehicles, so window regulators are all equipped with a simple motor with a 2-pin connector. For mid-range vehicles, only the driver's window regulator is equipped with the comfort function (motor with multi-pin connectors), while the passenger side window is usually equipped with a 2-pin motor.

For premium vehicles, all window regulators are equipped with the comfort function (motor with multi-pin connectors).
